Little boy

Once in a distant country a little boy went his way
All he did was stand for what he believed in and pray
He took his road day by day and would often say:
I will build something out of this young gray clay

It was far away on his road
But he turned his soul to his lord
And he started to think of all he could do with his life
Sun was shining through  his rain of simple strife

Little boy just smiles at what he sees outside
A gentle touch of a kid who’s feelings weren’t to hide
He helped another to walk along the hard dark road
Now tell me how can this world’s  heart be showed ?

Take it one step at the time oh little boy
If you jump too high you may just fall
But keep your hands at work and your spirit will survive
Each day you must bite into life cause tomorrow is alive

I don’t want you to feel sad and drop to your knees to cry
But boy you must realize that life won’t wait for your feet to pass by
So go ahead and spread the news that the joy in your heart is true
You don’t need to break in two to find life’s real value.

But keep your hands at work and your spirit will survive
Each day you must bite into life, into tomorrow you shall dive

One day little boy you’ll find a little girl for you
Don’t be surprised if she completes that heart you once drew
Lead together this world of mine by simply being true to you
And don’t forget that no one can blow out that flame in you
